Dover 1, Meadowbrook 0 DOVER -- One swing of the bat resulted in Meadowbrook High's first East Central Ohio League softball defeat as Dover's Sarah Mills delivered a sixth inning solo home run to lift the Lady Tornadoes to a 1-0 victory over the Lady Colts. Mills' two-out blast in the sixth broke up another no-hit bid by Meadowbrook senior Kinsi Tellep (11-2), who finished the game with 15 strikeouts and no walks. Dover's Andrea Larkin earned the pitching win on a three-hit shutout, fanning eight and not allowing a walk. Ashley Alsept had the other hit for Dover (10-2, 2-2 ECOL), a double. Meadowbrook (11-3, 3-1 ECOL) got singles from Candace Neff, Kylee Williams and Chelsey Roberts. Meadowbrook 7, Coshocton 0 BYESVILLE -- Kinsi Tellep continued her dominating season, striking out 17 in a perfect game as Meadowbrook High topped Coshocton, 7-0, in East Central Ohio League action. Macy Peterson struck out three for the Lady Redskins (2-8) in a losing effort. Chelsey Roberts and Tellep each had two singles and two RBI, Sarah Stine had a single and an RBI and Kylee Williams had two RBI for the Lady Colts. Comments
