OLD WASHINGTON--The Meadowbrook High Colts saw their boys and girls track teams capture a meet at Buckeye Trail High School. In girls action, the Lady Colts scored 115, outpacing the host Lady Warriors, who scored 75. Fort Frye finished with 68, Caldwell with 46, Shenandoah 13, and Faith Christian 9. For the Lady Colts, Darien Singleton took the 100 (13.15) and Maura Cain won the 100 hurdles and 300 Hurdles with a 15.91 and 46.50 respectively. In field events, Lacey Kirkman won the long jump with a leap of 15-01.25, and Katherine Jirles won the Discus with a toss of 99-00. The Lay Colts also took the 4x200 in 1:51.68. For Buckeye Trail, Kaci Cunningham won the 200 in 28.44 and Amy Fisher took the 400 with a time of 1:02.63. Sadie Miller won the high jump with a 4-04 for the lone Trail field win. The hosts also took the 4x100 in 53.42 and the 4x400 with a time of 4:13.73. The Lady Cadets of Fort Frye took the remaining events with Sarah Biehl winning the 800 with a time of 2:35.13. Lacey Huck took the 1600 by nearly 18 seconds, blazing a 5:44.48, and Jill Pawloski won the 3200 by more than a minute with a 12:43.00. Darci Combs won the shot with a throw of 32-03, and the Lady Cadets also won the 4x800 in 10:51.57. For the boys, the Colts were victorious, scoring 101 points. Buckeye Trail followed with 91.5. Caldwell finished third with a 79, Fort Frye scored 51, and Shenandoah had 7.5. Individually Drew Hunt won the 100 in 11.69, and was the lone solo winner for the Colts on the track side. In teams, the 4x100 won in 47.21, and the 4x200 team won with a 1:36.79. Jeremy Quinn won the long jump with a leap of 18-02, and Jason German took the shot with a throw of 47-09 For the hosts, Buckeye Trail saw Isaac Snyder dash away with the 200 and 400 titles in 23.40 and 53.09, and capture the high jump with a 5-08 leap. Ethan Snyder captured the 110 Hurdles (15.98) and the 300 hurdles (39.5). Trail also took the 4x400 in 3:37.9. Caldwell's Jordan Croucher won the 800 in a time of 2:10.64 and Ben Warner took the 3200 in 11:23.00. Ryan Brown won the discus with a toss of 128-05. The Redskins also took the 4x800 relay in 8:43.62. Jeremy Anderson was the lone victor for Forty Frye, as the Cadet took the 1600 with a time of 4:46.88, besting second place by more than 10 seconds.
