Marian and Eugene Netting of Byesville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 8, 2009.
On Dec. 8, 1949, Marian Beebe, daughter of Margaret and Earl Beebe, and Eugene Netting, son of Alice and Roy Netting, were united in marriage at Mead Memorial United Methodist Church in Russell, Ky.
The Rev. Allen Rose officiated the ceremony.
Mrs. Netting retired from the Rolling Hills School District.
Mr. Netting retired from Superior Dairy.
The couple have two sons, LeRoy of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Eugene C. Netting of Byesville.
Completing the family circle are seven grandchildren, Robert, Roy, David, Rachel, Elijah, Ryan and Rudy; and seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Joli, Addie, Ethan, Elliott, Alex and Robert.
The couple celebrated the special occasion with a trip back to Russell, Ky., where they attended church services.
