Bethany Stockdale and Kenneth "Kenny" Kirby were united in marriage on Aug. 22, 2009, at Northmoreland Baptist Church in Tunkhannock, Pa. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Shawn and Kay Stockdale of Uniondale, Pa. He is the son of Garry and Valarie Kirby of Byesville. Pastor Frank Passetti officiated the double-ring ceremony. Greg Harduk and Laura Lindsay provided special music for the ceremony. Attending the bride as honor attendant was Brynna Stockdale, her sister. Bridesmaids were Jessica Jones, Sarah Durrwachter, Caitlyn Smith, Kari Shirk. Talia Stockdale, sister of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid. Attending the groom as best man was Nick Box. Groomsmen were Greg Harduk, Dan Durrwachter, Josh Pyper, Micah Stockdale, brother of the bride. Ushers were Caleb Stockdale, brother of the bride, Kenneth Barrows and Isaac Denton. Carly Stockdale, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. Guestbook attendant was Kelly Kirby, sister of the groom. A reception for 175 guests followed in the church social hall. The new Mrs. Kirby is a 2005 graduate of Summit Christian High School and a 2009 graduate of Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, Pa., where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in office profession program. She is a former employee of Stockdale Finance and is a secretary in the tax office. Her husband is a 2005 graduate of Meadowbrook High School in Byesville and a 2009 graduate of Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, Pa., where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in youth pastoral and Bible. He is serving an internship with a youth group in Brighton, Mich. Following a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple makes their home in Brighton, Mich. Comments
