BYESVILLE -- Marjorie Ann Froment, 76, of Byesville, passed away Sunday (Jan. 3, 2010) at Red Carpet Health Care Center, Cambridge. She was born April 13, 1933, in Byesville, the daughter of the late John Nicholas and Hattie E. (Lynch) Tulip. Mrs. Froment was a 1950 graduate of Byesville High School and a 1962 graduate of Cambridge Beauty College. She was owner and operator of Marge's Kut-n-Kurl for many years. She also worked at RCA and Gallenkamp Shoes. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Maurice "Frog" Froment, whom she married Aug. 21, 1954; one son, Mark (Karen) Froment of Byesville; two daughters, Marsha (David) Quaintance of New Albany, and Maureen (Brian) Sills of Byesville; six grandchildren, Molly (Scott) Thayer, Bob Denver, Nichole (Josh) Laird, Kristen Patterson, Nicholas Hudson and Katie Quaintance; four great- grandchildren, Ben, Will, Laklyne and Logan; one brother, Donald Tulip of Byesville; one sister, Mabel Edwards of Byesville; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at Christ United Methodist Church, Cambridge, with a memorial service to follow at noon, with Pastors Sturman Moore and Mark Slay officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, OH 43725.
