BYESVILLE -- Sandra Sue Secrest, 69, of Buffalo, passed away Friday (Jan. 22, 2010) at her home. She was born Feb. 16, 1940, in Salesville, the daughter of the late James and Anna (Holmes) Britton. She attended Buffalo High School and was a member of the Buffalo VFW Post. She loved decorating and making her home beautiful, cooking, gardening, fishing and playing euchre. She loved spending time with her grandson, especially getting down on the floor and playing with him like she was 4-years-old herself. She said he kept her young at heart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James B. Secrest Jr.; and half-brother, Howard B. Secrest. Survivors include her daughter, Bobbie Sue Hunt; grandson, Joseph Hunt of Cambridge; two sisters, Carol Perkins of Cambridge and Etta Goff of Pleasant City; two half-sisters, Ruth Hannum of Byesville and Dorothy Jane Huntington of Charlotte, Tenn.; a special friend, Gary Amorine; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
