Terry "Ray" Lashley Sr.

SENECAVILLE -- Terry "Ray" Lashley Sr., 53, of Buffalo, passed away Thursday (Jan. 28, 2010) at Southeastern Med, Cambridge.

He was born Feb. 4, 1956, in Byesville, the son of the late Joseph and Emma (Dement) Lashley.

Ray formerly worked for J&J House Leveling, Texas, for 10 years; Bi-Con Services from 1993-2000; and was currently disabled.

He attended Stop 9 Church of Christ. He enjoyed working on race cars, spending time with his grandchildren, fishing and was a fan of Jeff Gordon and the Cincinnati Bengals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Lashley; and five brothers, Bob McHenry, Pete, Jim, Charles and Elmer Lashley.

He is survived by two sons, Robin and Terry Lashley, both of Buffalo; one daughter, Barbara (Tom) Dailey of Senecaville; three brothers, Lester "Dale" (Frieda) Lashley of Pleasant City, Robert (Kathy) Lashley of Buffalo and Joseph (Mina) Lashley of Lore City; one sister, Anna (Joseph) Nasworthy of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Miranda and Gabe Dailey, and Jazlyn Lashley; former spouse and mother of his children, Becky Lashley; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Mary and Berna Lashley, both of Pleasant City.

Funeral services were Feb. 2, 2010, at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville. Evan. Woody Biggs officiating.

Burial was in Buffalo Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the funeral home.
