BYESVILLE -- Paul M. Novak, 65, of Pleasant City, passed away Monday (Feb. 22, 2010) at his home. He was born Feb. 3, 1945, in Cambridge, son of the late Andrew and Anna (Hubal) Novak. Mr. Novak worked for 10 years at Phillip Products, Big D Oil fields and Southeastern Plastics. He was Catholic by faith. He loved fishing, camping, gardening and playing cards. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by many and also by his dog, Chico. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Andrew Novak; and an infant grandson. He is survived by his wife, Janice (Wickham) Novak, whom he married April 14, 1964; two daughters, Cynthia (Eric) Schoepper of Caldwell and Denise (Steve) Nau of Byesville; three brothers, Edward (Sandy) Novak of Cumberland, Robert and Lawrence Novak, both of Arizona; one sister, Barbara Larrick of Pleasant City; nine grandchildren, Kayla, Krystal, Megan, Michael, Duane, Steve, Hope, Adam and Jason; two great-grandchildren, Tallon and Stormy; several nieces and nephews.
