Classes constructing community puzzles

March 4, 2010

BYESVILLE -- The Career Development team recently visited the three elementary school buildings in the Rolling Hills School District. The team worked with first graders at Brook, Byesville and Secrest elementaries to construct classroom community puzzles.

The puzzles featured pieces created by each individual student representing the career in which he or she is interested. Rolling Hills elementaries are pilot sites for elementary career development activities for the 2009-2010 school year. The culminating activity for the sites will be a Reading Buddy Program in March.

Coordinator of the Elementary Career Development Program is Robin McQuaid.
