Lady Colts hoping success carries over
BYESVILLE " The 2009 season proved to be one filled with a lifetime of memories for the Meadowbrook Lady Colts, but it's time to move on and begin anew. MHS earned the school's first ever sectional title to begin the tournament trek, following up with district and regional crowns before dropping a 4-0 decision to Hamilton Ross in the D-II state semifinals. The Lady Colts posted an overall 22-8 record (8-4 in the ECOL) and finished as the OVAC Class 3-A Tournament...  Read Story.

"We don't have a lot of returning lettermen," related Norman, who begins his fifth season as the MHS field boss, "but the ones we do have are multiple-sport athletes who are very athletic. "We don't have a lot of returning starters," he continued, "so we're hoping some of our sophomores and even our freshmen will help us out." Norman, whose team finished 7-12 overall last year and 2-10 in the East Central Ohio League, does like the versatility of this year's...  Read Story.
